IN THE Tuesday Premier, leaders Rileys B beat Rileys J 5-1 with Mike Day and Chris Ackland making breaks of 42.

John Dyer made a great 41 break for Rileys E in a 3-3 draw with Rileys G. And Mitchell Grinstead was in good form with a break of 38 and a 32 clearance as Victoria T beat Plaza A 4-2.

In Division One, Woodland Fort remain top after a good 4-2 win over Matchroom A.

In Division Two, Worston Wool Barn enjoyed a good 4-2 win at Rileys H. Leaders Victoria J went down to a shock 4-2 defeat at home to Saltram for whom Adrian Woodward was the star man.

The all-Matchroom clash ended all-square between C and E.

In the Thursday League, leaders Tavistock Rbl A continued their good form with a 4-1 win over XFab. And Essa enjoyed a 4-1 win over Tavistock Rbl B for whom John Dawe made a 40 break.

In the Billiards Progressive League Cup, Elburton B and Noss Mayo had 24-22 wins over Mutley Cons and Elburton A, respectively.

THE highest break in Division One this week came from Tony Vieira who managed a superb 66 for Pennycross.

Unfortunately, they still lost against Belgrave 3-2.

Saltram B had Andy Aldridge make a 47 to win his frame, but team-mate Nigel Bennett lost his frame on the black and with it went the match 3-2 to Plymouth Snooker A.

In Division Two, James Pitcher made a 39 for Mutley Cons C who went on to beat Beacon Park A 3-2.

Victoria C’s Wayne Rickard made a 37 but was the only winner in a 4-1 victory for Torpoint Cons C.

Steve Launder made a 30 for Stuart B to help his side to a 3-2 win over Rileys and move 15 points clear in top spot.

Beacon Park B, in Division Three, had Lee Smith make a 32 to win his frame but they still lost 3-2 against Ford Cons D.

Lee Hunter made a 20 to win the decider in a 3-2 win for City Social over Crownhill RBL B.

Victoria A, in the Premier, had Dale Branton make a 43 to help them to a 3-2 win over Mutley Cons A.

Andy Pearce made a 33 for Victoria F but then saw opponent Darren Hall reply with a 39 to win the frame for Victoria E. The F side eventually came out on top 3-2.

In the Billiards, Plymouth Snooker had Matt Williams make a 83 and Dereck Walker make a 44, 41 and a 55 to clinch a 2-1 win over Citybus B.

IN DIVISION B Plym Social extended their lead to three points at the top following a 5-1 win at home to Plym Snooker A, with Darren Toy and Stuart Allen both winning twice.

Stuart A remain second after drawing away to Railways and Victoria D in third gained one point on Stuart by winning 4-2 at home to Ford B.

In Division C Andre Buckeridge made a 35 break and won both his frames for Victoria C in a 4-2 win away to Plym Electricity A.

Keith Williams and Fred Wyvill both won twice for Beacon Park A in a 4-2 win over Plaza A.

In Division A Chris Wiles won twice and Paul Veitch made a 44 break for Plym Snooker B in a 4-2 win at home to Mutley Cons, which keeps them top.

One point behind are Victoria B who won 4-2 away to Pennycross B. Agaton won 5-1 at home to Beacon Park B with breaks of 37 from Ian Preston and 33 from Alan Price.

SOCIAL A moved into top spot in the Premier after a crushing defeat over struggling Menheniot, who face a relentless task to avoid relegation.

Downderry and Social D both recorded 4-1 wins to ease their relegation worries.

With Division One leaders Menheniot having a bye Kingsand seized the advantage to move into second place after a 4-1 win over mid-table Essa.

Dobwalls, after an excellent 4-1 win over Trevelmond, move within one point of Division Two leaders Liskeard Cons.

The only league breaks came from Simon Deacon 35 and Phil Hearnden 30.
